Chevrolet redesigned the front end and improved cabin materials on all models of the Silverado, as well as updated the interior design on higher-level trims.
Models and Pricing
Chevrolet offers the 2022 Silverado for sale in Ottawa and across Canada in eight trim levels: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. Starting at $44,798, the WT model is a great deal for drivers who want capability, but the best mix of value, features, and luxury is found in the LT model, which starts at $52,598.
Performance
Four engine options are available on the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado to provide drivers with maximum capability, such as 6,032 kg of towing capability when properly equipped. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.7-litre four-cylinder that delivers 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Additional options include a 3.0-litre Duramax turbo-diesel I6 (277hp, 460 lb-ft), a 5.3-litre EcoTec3 V8 engine (355hp, 383 lb-ft), and 6.2-litre EcoTec3 V8 (420hp and 460 lb-ft).
Technology
Every 2022 Chevrolet Silverado features a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a mobile hotspot. A 13.4-inch touchscreen controls the system on the LT trim level and above, providing drivers with additional enhanced features, such as a Google-powered voice assistant, wireless smartphone connectivity, and available Amazon Alexa integration.
Safety
